12km further on, the circuit invites you to discover the site of St-Nazaire. This site offers a magnificent landscape with a view of the gorges of the Dordogne (reservoir of the Marèges dam) and the Diège. Bort les Orgues est située au cœur du Massif Central, et a cette particularité géographique d’être le trait d’union entre l’Auvergne et le Limousin. Bort s’étire au fond de la Vallée de la Dordogne, elle est traversée par la belle «Rivière Espérance». Ville manufactière, qui a vu s'installer au fil des siècles plusieurs manufactures; saboteries, la chapellerie, le moulinage de la soie puis cité industrielle, devenant la cité du cuir, sa renommée aux Tanneries de Bort.
