Face à l’église, partez à droite et continuer tout droit vers la rue du stade en direction du lotissement et du terrain de football puis de la station d’épuration et le chemin de terre parallèleau cours de l’Yser.

Au carrefour, continuez tout droit. Sur votre gauche à 100 m, le Pont des Templiers enjambe l’Yser, le « Fleuve aux eaux claires » des Celtes. 400 m plus loin, sur votre droite, se dresse la ferme du Peen Hof, grande bâtisse entourée de douves.

Tournez à droite, traversez avec précaution la route de Saint-Omer (D 928) et continuez tout droit le long de la Stokepot straete. A son extrémité, vous longez une haie vive. En face, par le chemin de terre, longez une pâture. Tournez à droite et rejoignez une chapelle.

Grimpez à gauche au sommet (37 m) du Ryssel Berg : vue sur les Monts Cassel, des Récollets et des Cats. Descendez sur l’autre flanc. 500 m plus loin, tournez à droite. Vous quittez la Kour straete pour la petite route après un virage et quelques habitations. Tournez à gauche sur le chemin de terre ; à l’extrémité du chemin se dresse une chapelle très originale dans le paysage de Flandre. Revenez sur vos pas pour rejoindre la route que vous traversez ; continuez sur le chemin de terre en face.

Tournez à droite sur la D 17, rejoignez une petite chapelle dédiée à Sainte-Rita. Obliquez à gauche, avant le château d’eau, en direction de Zegerscappel et aboutissez à la D 928.

Traversez la route – prudence – et prenez en face le chemin d’Eringhem, puis à gauche rejoignez le centre de Zegerscappel, en effectuant le tour de l’église. En chemin, passez devant une chapelle de 1778 et un petit manoir daté de 1611, le Manoir d’Orval.
