MAHJOUB BEN BELLA
Fresque réalisée en 1999 et 2000 par le peintre graffeur MAHJOUB BEN BELLA à l'intérieur de la station de métro Colbert. Elle s'étend en trois partie sur un total de 1000 carreaux en céramique. Cet artiste né à Maghnia (Algérie) s'est s'installé en France à 19 ans pour suivre des études à l'école des Beaux-Arts de Tourcoing, puis à l'École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs à Paris et enfin à l'école nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts à Paris. Il a notamment peint en 1982 des murs du Vieux Lille sur une surface de 380 m² puis en 1986, 12 km de pavés du Paris-Roubaix. Mahjoub Ben Bella est décédé le 11 juin 2020.
