La Vallée Bleue is a multi-activity leisure site located in the Balcons du Dauphiné in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region. It offers a multitude of activities on the banks of the Rhône, in a remarkable natural setting.Vallée Bleue offers a wide range of water sports: pedalos, stand-up paddles, mini cruises on the Rhône, boat hire with or without a licence, jet skis, flyborards, etc. Located on the ViaRhôna cycle route linking Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean, you can also hire bikes from Espace Bike. There is an FFCT base on site, offering 13 mountain bike trails of varying levels of difficulty. For younger visitors, there are pony rides, pedal go-karts, miniature golf and tree climbing. For swimming, the aquapark with heated pool and waterslide is open from June to August.

Located on the Vallée Bleue leisure park and right next to Viarhôna, the campsite offers its customers free access to the heated swimming pool (in season only). Ideal for a cycling break or a family getaway.The campsite, which has been awarded the Accueil Vélo label, is located on the Viarhona cycle route and offers pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, mobile homes for 4, 6 and 8 people, and unusual accommodation such as PODS cabins, trapper cabins and lodge tents. On site, there is a snack bar, laundry area, small grocery store, boules court, small playground and ping-pong table, board games and bookcase, barbecue available, recycling and composting facilities.

The village of Quirieu stands out for its unique landscape, where nature and vegetation have reclaimed their rights. This ‘ghost village’ offers an enchanting setting worthy of a fairytale, combining poetry, imagination and history.Quirieu is a sleepy town that looks like something out of a fairytale. It lies on the northern border of the Dauphiné region, and is now part of the commune of Bouvesse-Quirieu (Isère) and the Communauté de Communes des Balcons du Dauphiné. The site extends over a 4-hectare limestone hillock forming a small, elongated and naturally steep plateau. On its eastern flank, Quirieu overlooks the Rhône and its alluvial terraces by almost 100 metres. To the east, opposite the site on the other side of the river, rise the first powerful foothills of the southern Bugey. To the west, Quirieu opens onto the cold lands of the Bas Dauphiné. In the Middle Ages, it was one of the main strongholds of the Dauphiné. Quirieu enjoyed a privileged position of control over a territory, a river route and a border (the Rhône, which separated Dauphiné and Bugey until 1601). After its heyday between the 14th and 16th centuries, Quirieu was gradually abandoned. But the streets and houses of the old urban fabric are still very much in evidence. The landscape character of this abandoned village, where nature and vegetation have reclaimed their rights, gives Quirieu its originality. This "ghost village" takes on the appearance of a fairytale setting, where dreams, imagination and poetry rub shoulders with history. The site is dotted with themed panels, allowing you to explore Quirieu in complete freedom. Take a stroll along the paths of the Quirieu site and head for the orientation tables, where you'll discover the breathtaking panorama of the medieval site. As you look down on the land below, you'll realise how man has shaped this landscape through his skills: Traces of the tramway on the Rhône, multinational cement works (Vicat), quarrying, vineyards (Syndicat des Vins du Bugey, Montagnieu), the hydraulic (CNR) and nuclear (EDF) industries, leisure centres (Vallée Bleue, Montalieu-Vercieu), crafts (Moulin d'Arche, Bouvesse-Quirieu) and luxury furniture factories (Ligne Roset, Briord) etc. Today, Quirieu is coming back to life thanks to occasional events organised as part of a gentle tourism initiative based around storytelling or musical and historical walks (storytelling evening in the moonlight at the end of June, Concordia construction site in July).

Espace Eau Vive is a sports base dedicated to whitewater activities: rafting, hydrospeed, kayaking, canoraft, packraft... On a secure artificial river, accessible to all levels. Ideal for beginners, progressing or having fun outdoors.The Espace Eau Vive is a sports leisure center, entirely dedicated to white water activities. Located on an artificial river 600m long, it offers a secure environment and perfectly suited to discover, practice or improve in kayak, hydrospeed, rafting, canoraft or packraft. This white-water stage recreates a succession of more or less technical passages: roller, surf wave, tie rock, weeping, smooth wave. Its major assets: - Its S-shaped line that reduces the ports - Its water quality (located upstream of the large Lyon metropolis). Permanently, 140 adjustable edge and color doors to imagine a maximum of layouts and facilitate the work of the trainers. Designed to accommodate both beginners and advanced athletes, the site offers a varied, fun and progressive course, allowing everyone to evolve at their own pace under the supervision of qualified professionals. Clubs, schools, families, groups or individuals find there an ideal ground to live thrills in complete safety. On site, the base also has a nature campsite, a group cottage, a bike park with free access and a large tent for shelter. A friendly place, surrounded by greenery, where to practice, share and enjoy a real outdoor experience.

The campsite, certified Accueil Vélo, is located right next to the ViaRhôna cycle route. It is ideal for cycle tourists, kayakers and nature lovers. It offers traditional pitches as well as unique accommodation such as Trapper and Domino tents.Located in the heart of Île de la Serre, between nature and artificial white-water river, Camping de l'Espace Eau Vive is a 2-star campsite designed to accommodate athletes, kayakers and all those who are looking for a simple, authentic stay. Its green environment and friendly atmosphere make it an ideal stop along the ViaRhôna or a perfect starting point for a weekend of sports. The campsite offers 37 pitches, suitable for tents, vans and small motorhomes. A few shaded pitches are available, but the majority are in sunny areas: it is therefore advisable to plan something to protect yourself from the sun. For an unusual stay, 7 atypical accommodations are offered : - 3 Domino tents: At the heart of the white water space site, the 3 domino tents have a capacity of 6 beds each. A dining area with two refrigerators and 2 gas hobs as well as a common tent with tables and benches for meals is available. - 4 Trapper Tents: The trapper area is composed of 4 wooden tents with 6 beds each, a 3m x 3m kitchen tent with two refrigerators, 2 gas hobs as well as a 32m2 common tent with tables and benches for meals. For all tents: Provide pillows, fitted sheets, sleeping bags (only the mattress protector is provided), toilet paper and all kitchen essentials (pots, dishes, cutlery...). There is no heating or lighting in the tents (lighting in the kitchen and meal tents only). The campers have a common toilet block, functional and maintained (toilet paper not provided). At the entrance of the campsite, a sheltered 200 m2 barnum equipped with tables and benches allows to meet, shelter or share meals. The services include: free Wi-Fi, possibility of electric connection 5A for a fee, and a snack bar open in season offering ice creams, cold drinks and hot drinks. There is no catering on site. The campsite particularly appeals to kayakers thanks to its immediate proximity to the artificial river of the Espace Eau Vive. The evening atmosphere is generally calm, with campers mainly coming to train, recharge or attend sports camps.

« Le gîte » has been designed to welcome groups. It includes all the equipment you need everyday… It is composed of 2 floors : upstairs, there are 6 rooms of 4 beds, one room of 2 beds (with bunk beds in each room), showers and toilets. Please bring your sleeping bags, pillows and toilet bag. We provide fitted sheets.The cottage of Espace Eau Vive is a friendly and functional accommodation, ideal for sports groups, associations, kayak clubs or families looking for a simple and practical place in nature. With a capacity of 26 beds, it consists of rooms equipped with single bunk beds and common areas designed to facilitate group life. You will find a large fully equipped kitchen, a spacious refectory, a relaxation room (living room), as well as two sanitary blocks. Bed linen is not provided: each participant must bring their own duvet and/or sheets. Located right next to the artificial river, the cottage offers privileged access to whitewater activities, technical internships or multi-activity stays. In order to ensure the comfort of all and preserve the tranquility of the place, the cottage does not host festive events (EVG/EVJF, birthdays, rugby clubs or similar). It is mainly aimed at groups seeking calm, sport and cohesion in a natural setting. Not provided: sponges, dishwashing liquid or dishwasher tablets, dish towels, toilet paper... The cottage is available from 2pm on the day of your arrival and must be vacated before 11am on the day of your departure.
