Description

This walk, accessible to all, plunges you into the beautiful old oak forest of the Abbaye-Marcenat.

The various parcels of woodland that make up this 1,145-hectare forest originate from the royal estate and ecclesiastical holdings seized during the French Revolution.

Face au départ prendre le 3ème chemin à gauche.

Plan d'eau de la boire des Carrés

On the outskirts of Vichy, this site, classified as a sensitive natural area, is home to numerous species of heritage interest, such as the European Cistude. Fishing is managed by the St-Germain des Fossés AAPPMA.Pond and river fishing. Fishing lessons on request. Nature lovers will also be able to observe numerous species of birds, and the main fish species are carp and carnivorous fish (pike, perch, pike-perch). The site is accessible to people with reduced mobility and is equipped with a double disabled fishing place (PMR).
