Beach on edge of Lac d’Aiguebelette with children’s playground, supervised bathing in the summer. Great view of the lake, surrounded by lush grounds.Pedalo rentings with slides, kayak and canoes, stand up paddle, fishing kayak. Snack: local snacks, ice creams, sandwiches, fries, soda/beers, fish & chips, fruits and vegetables mix. Supervised beach from mid June till end of August, renting/activity services from May to September. Group welcomings on booking, except on weekends and bank holidays. Please note that animals and barbecues are forbidden on all the lake's beaches.

Peaceful waters, gentle mountain slopes, lush aquatic fauna and flora, pretty boathouses, enchanting islands: the scene is set for a thrilling adventure!Regardless of what you desire, here you will find all the ingredients to peace and relaxation: various landscapes, out of the ordinary visits, leisure and nature sports on the water, on the ground and in the air! The Aiguebelette lake, small emerald pearl, welcomes you inside its magnificent setting where you can relax and practice nature sports and leisure. Located in Savoie and at the entrance of the Natural Park of Chartreuse. 3rd natural lake of France with its 545 hectares, the lake belongs to the De Chambost family and EDF (French electricity provider). Its riverbanks and its triangular phreatic table where you can find two small islands in the south remained wild and preserved. Classified as a Nature Reserve in 2015, the Aiguebelette lake is made of a remarkable ecosystem and natural areas both classified and protected. The ecological diversity and the water quality of the lake, which by the way constitutes a reservoir of drinking water for 14 towns, is guaranteed by 70 hectares of reed beds, pastures, wet afforestations and aquatic plant habitats. Very appreciated by fishermen, the lake is surrounded with typical boathouses, a unique heritage in Europe. Several protective measures are implemented and boats with combustion engines are forbidden in order to protect the purity and the beauty of the water. The lake is remarkably fresh and can reach 28 degrees, it is the perfect place for kids and grown-ups: 7 equipped, taken care of and monitored beaches are open to swimmers and others looking for activities during the summer.
