Description

An affordable hike through the heart of the Passy Nature Reserve to reach the refuge, which offers exceptional panoramic views of the Fiz, Aiguilles Rouges and Mont-Blanc.

The Möede Anterne chalet, built in 1898, was a meeting place for chamois hunting and hiking to the surrounding peaks.

From Passy Plaine-Joux, take the trail to Barmus and Ayères des Pierrières before climbing up to the refuge. The majestic cliffs of Les Fiz accompany you throughout your hike.

Return by the same route.

This immersion in the Passy Nature Reserve allows you to get close to natural environments that are home to all their protected species: forest birds, alpine meadow flowers, highland ibex.

Everyone is at home here: you're just passing through, they live here. The Passy Nature Reserve is a protected and regulated area, and dogs are not allowed, even on a leash. If you wish to spend a night in the heart of the reserve, bivouacs are permitted from 7pm to 9am.
