This walk is done in a double loop and will make you discover the different agricultural plateaus of Droisy and Clermont. You can also enjoy, when you come, to visit the Clermont Castle (historical monument, symbol of the Italian Renaissance).
This familial walk with very little elevation change will make you discover the agricultural plateaus of Droisy and Clermont.
This hike can me modulated in a small loop (at the departure of Clermont), an average one (at the departure of Droisy) or in a buckle in its entirety (at the departure of Clermont) described in its enterity in the guidebook.
Besides the discovery of this agricultural plateaus and different viewpoints offered on the Jura mountain, the Vuache and of course the Mont-Blanc, this hike is the occasion for you to visit the Clermont Castle (16th century, only witness of the Italian Renaissance in Haute-Savoie (classified as Historical Monument)).

L’église a été construite à l’emplacement d’une ancienne chapelle. La paroisse était toutefois une annexe de celle de Cologny (hameau de Seyssel), puis, elle fut rattachée à celle de Clermont.Son clocher a un couronnement en flèche trapue assez original. Le chœur est voûté en berceau brisé. Elle est dédiée à Saint Sébastien. On trouve à l’intérieur deux statues : celle de Saint Sébastien et celle d’une Vierge à l’enfant en bois sculpté au XVIIIème siècle par un artiste local, classé par les Monuments Historiques. En rentrant à gauche on trouve un bénitier en pierre à demi engagé dans le mur.

0/ Droisy (Ancienne Fruitière)
1/ At the start of the post "Droisy (Ancienne Fruitière)", take the direction of "La Ferme du Comte". You will go through "Chemin du Champ de la Cure" and "Les Auterays".
2/ At the post "The Auterays", take the direction of Clermont, leave on your right the path rising towards the Farm of the Count. Always follow the direction of Clermont, you will pass by "La Colonie", "La Verne" and "Derrière le Crêt".
3/ Arrived at "Clermont (Pont à bascule)", continue towards "Droisy by Plateau de la Verniaz". From the Plateau de la Verniaz post, always follow "Droisy", you will again pass through the intersections of "Derrière le Crêt" and "La Verne".
4/ From the "Verne", continue towards "L'Epine", then follow "Droisy" to reach your starting point.
