Easy Walking Tour: Shoreline Path

A walk along the water's edge, leading walkers around one whole side of the Lac du Bourget. A mixture of users is the name of the game here and you may well be joined by roller bladers, children on their trikes watching kite surfers or wind surfers on the lake.

This lakeside path is the culmination of the Grand Lac development program initiated by the Conseil général de la Savoie. This promenade is already a great success, providing users with a once inaccessible lakeside that is now attractive again. A variety of green spaces and terraces offer many opportunities to relax close to the water. Swimming is available at various locations, inviting young and old alike to cool off... The ever-changing and surprising waters of Lac du Bourget are an invitation to return on a windy or swelly day.
