Sentier de la Sauge

Sentier de la Sauge

From the charming chapel in Esserts-Salève, the path crosses woods on the south-east slopes of the Salève range, following the tracks of the old electric train over a short distance. Continue to the cable car terminus for a great view looking over Geneva.
In Esserts-Salève, see the Romanesque chapel (1584). Super panoramic view of the Alps as you arrive from the pastures. At the cable car terminus, there is a magnificent view of Geneva. On the way back down, follow the tracks of the old funicular railway.
