Mont d'Armenaz

Description

A lovely energetic hike in the heart of the Wildlife and Hunting National Reserve where 360° panoramic views and wildlife await you!

From the car park, take the bridge to the left, pass in front of the chapel and then the ruined village. Continue in the vale which narrows. When you are below the Pointe des Arces face, take a path to the left, that's in good condition, which leads to the "Chalets de l'Armène". Leaving the chalets, turn your back to Pécloz Mountain and continue in the vale leading to the "Passage de l'Armène". From here, go up left to reach the summit via a steep grassy knoll. Descend along the ridge leading to the mountain pass between Pécloz and Armène. Then make your way back down to the "Chalet de l'Armène" via beautiful slopes and come back down the same way as the ascent.
