The chalets of Chailloux are built in the middle of a mountain pasture. An exceptional green landscape allows you to admire the Mont Blanc massif as well as the Bossons glacier, located just opposite.
This exceptional viewpoint located at 2285m of altitude will lead you to the doors of the natural reserve of Carlaveyron. With a magnificent and panoramic view on the Mont Blanc, this mountain rises in front of this sumptuous massif.
Created in 1991, this reserve protects an area of 598 hectares and ranges from 1090 to 2305 m.Medium and high mountain area with a very contrasted relief: in the upper part, a vast glacial cirque where you can find a multitude of wetlands and small lakes. On the slopes, a beautiful mountain forest and, in the lower part, the Gorges de la Diosaz. The difficult access and the wild character of the place have allowed a very diversified fauna and flora to maintain itself. Free access, conform to the regulations of the natural reserve. Animation in collaboration with the Aiguilles rouges nature reserve
