Villages trail

Long of nearly 2 km and with a footbridge to cross the Bourgeat torrent , this walk for pedestrians and cyclists between Taconnaz and Route des Granges allows to reach the center of the village without using the expressway.
Begin in Les Houches Ice Rink, go up until chemin de la Tannuaz, then Griaz and chemin des fleurs. Go to Les Granges and follow the signs for Taconnaz, this smile village path crosses the eastern part of the village (2km).
From Taconnaz one can continue to Les Bossons to join another trail in direction of Chamonix.

Tips

Follow the Chemin Vert in Les Houches to join Chamonix via the north side. You can then come back by following the sentier de l'Arve on the south side of the valley.
