Office de tourisme des Rousses

Dos à l’Office de tourisme des Rousses, dirigez-vous à gauche en direction des Rousses Centre. L’itinéraire est balisé VTT n°2. Pour cela, traversez prudemment la Route Nationale 5 et longez-la sur la droite. Au carrefour Les Rousses Centre, montez à gauche vers Le Tremplin de saut à ski.

Tremplin

Au Tremplin, suivez le sentier à gauche direction Fort des Rousses. Vous surplombez les douves du Fort. Redescendez le talus pour atteindre le carrefour du Fort des Rousses, puis suivez la direction du Glacis en traversant la petite route.

Au Glacis, suivez le sentier qui part à gauche en direction de Sous la Muraille. A ce carrefour, poursuivez sur ce sentier en prenant les directions de Sous le Fort, puis des Entrepreneurs.

Les Entrepreneurs

Aux Entrepreneurs, prenez le sentier à droite qui remonte progressivement direction Porte de France. L’itinéraire débouche sur une petite route, suivez-la à droite pour atteindre le carrefour de la Porte de France puis continuez tout droit pour rejoindre les Douves.

Les Douves

Au carrefour des Douves, suivez le chemin à droite direction les Commandos pour faire le tour des remparts du Fort. Le chemin est très roulant. Aux Commandos, suivez l’indication de la Sentinelle en longeant le parcours accrobranche et la via ferrata. Continuez à longer le mur d’enceinte du Fort en passant par la poterne jusqu’à la Porte de Suisse.

Porte de Suisse

A l’approche de la Porte de Suisse, le chemin remonte et sort des douves du Fort. Suivez la route jusqu’au poteau du Fort des Rousses puis remontez le chemin à gauche pour rejoindre le Tremplin, les Rousses centre et enfin l’Office de tourisme des Rousses.
