Description

Easy walk through the meadows and hamlets of Saint Nicolas La Chapelle.

DEPARTURE: Church of St Nicolas La Chapelle - parking

ROUTE: From L'ÉGLISE, take the municipal road from PASSIEU to reach the hamlet of the same name. From there, go down the municipal road in "S" until FLUMET D'AVAL. Turn left again towards LA POULIÈRE then go back to BETHIERS and join THE CHURCH.
VARIANT At the hamlet of Passieu, go up towards SIERRES. Round trip possible to the hamlet of ROCHATS. Continue towards LA LOZERETTE and join FLUMET D'AVAL.

POINTS OF INTEREST:
- The church of Saint Nicolas la Chapelle, dedicated to the saint of the same name, dating from the 18th century. This Baroque building is remarkable for its bell tower. double lantern, carved porch, frescoes and its main altar in single canopy in Savoy.
- Many farms, with the possibility of buying cheese.
