We follow the fruit’s journey from orchard to glass, passing through the orchards, the press, the cider fermentation cellar, the distillery and the cellars. It’s tangible, vivid, almost tactile. You gain a better understanding of what gives a cider its personality, the roundness of a ‘pommeau’ or the depth of a calvados when you see the premises, the processes and the raw materials. The tasting session, which rounds off the tour, allows you to put flavours to what you have just seen.
