
An enjoyable and relatively easy introductory circuit through the hills between the villages of Roussayrolles and St. Michel de Vax, with a challenging climb.
In Roussayrolles, you can visit the 13th-century church of "Notre-Dame," which has housed frescoes by Nicolaï Greschny, a renowned master of iconography, since 1952. You will also discover the Touron washhouse and the old stone crosses that mark the paths.
As you descend towards the Pas de la Clède and the heights of the commune of St. Michel de Vax, you will enjoy stunning views of the Bonnan and Laussière valleys. Be sure to pay attention to the vegetation and flowers of the Causse along the way.

Departure : Parking at Coustou in Roussayrolles.
Arrival : Same place as the start.
Road access : 15 km west of Cordes via the D600 to Vindrac, then head towards Tonnac-Vaour on the D91. After passing Tonnac, turn left towards Roussayrolles on a small road.
30 km north of Gaillac via Vaour or Tonnac..
Parking recommended : Parking du Coustou at the entrance of the village. .
Starting from the Parking du Coustou in Roussayrolles, you descend towards the Pas de la Clède via the Touron washhouse path and gravel paths towards the place known as "Fourcou." You then climb up a rocky track that will require some effort and rejoin the GR de Pays trail, which returns towards the village. You complete the loop at the "Foun Naouto" crossroad and head back to the Coustou.
