Routes that are relatively smooth, designed to explore the richness of the Gaillac vineyards.
On your route, you will pass near two villages:
Vieux : A typical village with white stone buildings. It was very frequented during the Middle Ages for important relics that had been brought there but which the inhabitants had to return to the Bishop of Albi in 1494.
Andillac/Musée du Cayla : Nestled near a verdant valley, this is the birthplace of the Romantic poet Maurice de Guérin (1810-1839) and his sister Eugénie (1805-1848). It is a traditional Languedoc manor house from the 15th and 18th centuries. Today, it is owned by the Department and serves as a museum hosting exhibitions and conferences on literature. It is a refreshing and calming place.
