Short but intense and technical circuit—not to be missed.
You'll appreciate the red soil of Marnaves' trails as you tackle the challenging climb up to the plateau. You'll also enjoy beautiful views of the valley. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the village to see the St Médard Church and the nearby washhouse (150 meters along the Roussayrolles-Vaour road), featuring its small spring covered with Capillaire de Montpellier, also known as "Venus's hair."
Take some time to relax at the picnic area on your way back.

Starting from Marnaves, take the road to Lissart and then turn right onto the red dirt trail leading up to the pumping station. After a few challenging switchbacks, cross the local road and follow the path that climbs up to St Jean.
Once at the top, descend via the GR de Pays trail (to the right) back to the village on a rather steep descent. Finally, cross the village and return to the picnic area opposite the cemetery.
