Description
From the heights of Graulhet, enjoy stunning views of the Montagne Noire and the Cocagne plain. As a bonus, you can also relish the coolness of Lake Nabeillou and Lake Miquelou.
Lake Nabeillou, set in its green surroundings, is a wonderful recreational area recently developed. In addition to hiking, you can enjoy other activities such as BMX track, cyclocross, mountain biking, fishing, skate park, picnic area, and fitness trail. Indoor climbing and archery are available through local sports associations. Swimming is prohibited.

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step
Starting from Lake Nabeillou, in front of the Vélo Club Graulhet, you warm up by circling the lake and then join the Cabanès road. At Métairie Haute, you reach the Briatexte hills. From there, you follow varied trails on the heights to the village. After leaving the village, you climb through the woods to reach the Plaine de Grèze. You then return on the original path, which leads you back to the Cabanès road. From there, you head to the ridges and cross to the opposite valley to explore the Graulhet hills. As you return towards the town, you descend to Lake Miquelou and circle it. Afterward, you climb back up to the heights, pass by the Notre-Dame des Vignes church, and finish your loop back at Lake Nabeillou.
