The botanical trail of Widensolen

The departure point for this trail, which takes you through the forest of Kastenwald, is opposite the grotto. You have the choice between two marked
footpaths, (one 1.4km. and the other 2.6km.). More than 30 tree species have been listed in this area as well as a burial ground from the Bronze or Iron
age(1500 – 480 B.C.). Part of this trail runs alongside the canal that you can cross thanks to 2 footbridges.
