Nature Trail in Freneuse-sur-Risle (Unmarked) – Starting point: 6 Rue de la Berquerie

South of the village of Freneuse-sur-Risle, along the Gué de la Salle Trail, Rudy and Jérémy — the “Green Brigade” responsible for maintaining the hiking paths — created a 3-kilometre Nature Trail inviting visitors to look at their local environment from a new perspective.

Their project is based on an eco-responsible approach centred on the recovery and reuse of local materials. Through educational and artistic installations integrated into the landscape, they sought to bring together ecology and the environment, art and culture, tourism and heritage.

The aim is to raise awareness among all generations of the fragile balance that links us to our ecosystem, while exploring climate and biodiversity issues in an engaging and accessible way. The trail highlights the natural and cultural heritage of the commune, often overlooked even by local residents.

Rudy and Jérémy wanted to remind visitors of a simple truth that is too often forgotten: vast landscapes are not always necessary to inspire wonder, provided we take the time to observe what surrounds us. Their collection, open and constantly evolving, is conceived as a shared asset, ephemeral by nature, much like the living world itself.
