At the end of a pleasant walk in a natural woodland, you will find the hermitage proudly standing, 2km away from Lirac, land of rosé. In this ancient Neolithic cave were built a chapel and a statue of the Virgin Mary in the 17th century, and it became a pilgrimage site. For a long time, the cave was accessible with a trail. The current route was only built in the 19th century. By the way, until then, the only way to reach the cave was through the hermitage. Inside, an access corridor, dug around 1880, created access to the cave.
