Winter path - "Sentier des Teppes"
Description
Take this trail, which allows you to gain altitude. Upon arrival, you will be rewarded for your efforts with an exceptional view of Mont Blanc, the Méribel valley, and La Saulire.
Descent (1.5h): When you arrive at the Saint-Martin Express chairlift, cross the slope towards the first aid station. Then continue to the Teppes ski lift, following the signs of the same name. Pass under the
Granges chairlift, then cross the slope. Continue along the Teppes trail until you reach the junction with the Girauds trail and continue along the marked trail to Les Menuires. Alternative: For a shorter version (-30 minutes and 100 m elevation gain), take the Choumes trail (#14) on the left to the Roc 1 summit.
Ascent (2 h45): Take trails #16 and #13, keeping to the left at all times. Cross the Gros Tougne trail and take the Teppes trail on the left. The return trip by chairlift and gondola is free.
