Quick walk around Wangenbourg's and Freudeneck's castles

5.7 km – 2 hours – 270 meters – No difficulties

Follow the sign with the red circle in all the walk. Go to the castle, down the donjon, and go to the right. After 100 meters, turn to the left and go down at the bridge: Pont Brocard. Go left on the road for 50 m then go up on the path to Kittelfelsen (rock of cupule). Follow on the left a wide road for 800 m. After the intersection go down on the left. Downstairs the steps near the castle Freudeneck, take the left path on a forest road. At the left, go for 180 m then cross the bridge at the right.
After the water treatment plant, take the road on the left for 600 m in the direction of a wood’s footbridge. Turn immediately on the left in order to go to Wangenbourg castle for 900 m and to finish, at the start of the hike
