Cycling route La Boucle Nature de Granges-Aumontzey

Departure: parking place de l'Église - place des Anciens Combattants d'Indochine, Granges-Aumontzey.

Legend has it that Charlemagne chose this spot to build barns while hunting in the nearby forests. Today, Granges-Aumontzey is known for the Vologne, a clear-water river popular with fishermen, and for its many trails where you can discover a wide variety of flora and fauna.

Directions :
From the parking lot, turn left onto the D423 (towards Gérardmer), then right towards Le Tholy. Climb gradually through the forest to Champ de Laxet, then turn right towards Champdray. Situated on a plateau at an altitude of 700 m, this village offers fine panoramic views, particularly from the Spiémont (811 m), an ancient druidic site overlooking the Vologne, Neuné and Barba valleys.

Pass through the village, continue towards Jussarupt, Aumontzey, and finally reach the center of Granges-Aumontzey to complete the itinerary.
