The journey begins in Cornil. This village, once so influential that it was minted money, boasts a Romanesque church and the proud silhouette of its keep, vestiges of a rich and combative past. Then comes the reward: as you descend towards the Corrèze, the path reveals a splendid waterfall, jealously guarded by the thick forest.
The route climbs to Favars, the perched spur. Here, the fountain of Saint-Eutrope dispenses its healing legends, while the pond of Lachamp echoes the memory of peasant uprisings.
The path winds gently through rows of orchards and vast meadows, leading you to Saint-Germain-les-Vergnes, birthplace of the famous Sainte-Germaine apple, a legendary fruit praised by Turgot.
Your journey comes to an end in Saint-Hilaire-Peyroux, once a famous fairground.
