CIRCUIT N°5 - VTT EN FORÊT DE BOUCONNE

Beautiful forest tracks, fun single tracks, a few technical sections with no real difficulties, the forest, nature... in short, a breath of fresh air!
Set in the heart of the vast Bouconne forest, the green lung of the west of Toulouse, this mountain bike route, approved by the French Cycling Federation, is an invitation to enjoy a natural getaway that combines sporting pleasure with heritage discovery.

Mostly shaded, the route winds under oak and pine trees, offering a cool, soothing atmosphere, ideal for oxygenating in any season.
Accessible to intermediate-level mountain bikers, the route alternates between rolling forest tracks, winding paths and a few more technical sections that spice up the outing without presenting any major difficulties. The gentle terrain keeps the pace pleasant, allowing you to contemplate the scenery and observe the local flora and fauna.
There are a number of points of interest along the way. The route passes near the Verdier memorial, a discreet and moving place of remembrance, then leads to the Chappe telegraph tower, witness to the first long-distance communications network in French history. The Croix Saint-Dominique, nestling in the heart of the forest, is a peaceful place to stop for a break or a few photos.
