GR2013 - C02 - From Ste Marthe to La Valentine

Section C01 of the GR2013. From Saint Antoine to Sainte Marthe. A 4.1km route to discover the Vallon de Dol reservoir, before entering the residential districts of Marseille.

(The C sections are another route for crossing Marseille from the west, through the countryside, replacing sections B03, B04, B05, B06, thus avoiding the urbanized city center).

When you reach Vallon Dol, you'll have a breathtaking view of the dam-reservoir. At the end of the trail, you'll walk through holm oaks and arbutus trees. Don't miss the reservoir dam and water purification plant. The reservoir holds 3 million square meters of water to supply the people of Marseilles.
