





A walk through the hills of Saint-Boès which witnessed the violent confrontations between Napoleon's army led by Marshal Soult and Wellington's allied troops (English, Spanish, Portuguese) during the battle of Orthez, on February 27th 1814. The French armies defended the ridge roads, while the Anglo-Hispanic artillery fired towards the village from the Roman Camp.
