Description
Voie verte 1 du Grand Dax runs for 14.8 km between Saint-Paul-lès-Dax, Mèes, Angou-mé and Rivière-Saas-et-Gourby. Wide and peaceful, it invites cyclists and walkers to slow down, breathe and enjoy.
The 11 km route winds its way through unspoilt countryside, with the Adour River as a common thread, the wild barthes as a backdrop, and a gentle finish at Christus lake. Here, everything is accessible, simple and soothing.
Connected to the Scandibérique route to the Basque country, punctuated by shady rest stops, picnic tables and stories to listen to via QR codes, the walk becomes an interlude.
