A short loop over the plateaus carved out by the Dordogne and the wooded valleys of the Massif Central's former coal plateau. Panoramic views of the Sancy and Artense mountains, 16th-century houses and the Romanesque church of Singles enhance the walk.

Animals are not allowed on some routes.
1/ From the start sign, cross the road and continue on the D29 (towards Singles). At a stele, take the road to the left, which turns into a footpath 100 m further on. Climb the slope, then turn left onto the road as far as the Singles village entrance sign.
2/ Take the street on the right. Pass the church (PP1) on your left, the town hall on your right, then two houses on your left with adjoining bread ovens. At the top of the village, go straight ahead for 300 m. (PV1: view of the Burande gorges and, in the distance, the Sancy and Dore mountains) until you come to an intersection with a farm.
3/ Turn right for 20 m, then right again. After a bend to the left, go down into the beech forest, as far as a T-junction (forestry work). Turn right and descend at the next junction. At the next two intersections, turn right, then left, and follow the path. Reach a small clearing and fork left along a steep path to a stream.
4/ Follow its course to the right for 20 m, cross it and follow a damp path on the left bank which widens away from the stream. At a fork, turn right (200 m, PP2 brown coal outcrops) (departmental signposting) and join La Guinguette.
