An ideal family hike, combining the shady paths of the Plan de la Lie wood and the Chabouds forest. Superb panoramic views of Belledonne and the Aiguilles d'Arves await you.
This hike offers a gradual immersion into the forest environment, on pleasant, well-marked trails that are refreshingly cool in summer. The route alternates between wooded passages and open areas, offering sweeping Alpine panoramas. From the outskirts of the hamlet of La Colonne, you can look far out over the relief of the Belledonne massif and the slender silhouettes of the Aiguilles d'Arves. The gentle gradient and regularity of the path make it an accessible itinerary, suitable for families and occasional walkers alike. Picnic facilities at the starting point invite you to extend your outing in a convivial setting.
