The Fleckensteiner hiking trail commemorates this noble family, who ruled northern Alsace from their castle near Lembach and owned a summer residence and estates in Buhl. Although almost nothing remains of this residence, the graves of the last barons of this line can still be found there. The circular trail leads around the village, through the fields of the plain on one side and the first hilly foothills on the other
