Le vallon de Combeau

Located on the road to the Vallon de Combeau, Bénevise welcomes individuals, groups and families who love outdoor activities (hiking, trekking, climbing, trail riding, mountain biking, cycling...) for a stopover, a stay, a course or training.Located in the Parc Naturel Régional du Vercors, below the southern entrance to the Hauts Plateaux du Vercors, we welcome you in a mountain refuge style: in small dormitories combining a touch of comfort with a spirit of sharing, conviviality and simplicity. We welcome you on a half-board basis (for stopovers, stays, training courses, anniversaries) in 3 dormitories of 3-4 beds, spread over 3 apartments with sanitary facilities and kitchen (all renovated in 2024).Our guests can also take advantage of the lovely terrace in front of the house. Bénevise is a small hamlet on a south-facing hillside, in the middle of the slope between the Cirque d'Archiane and the Vallon de Combeau, below the Tussac promontory.The GR 93 (Traversée Ouest-Est du Vercors) and GR 965 (Sur les pas des Huguenots) pass in front of the gîte, as do a number of mountain bike trails. We're also close to several rock-climbing sites (Aiguilles de Bénevise, Cirque d'Archiane 5 km, Vallon de Baïn 12 km). In short, whether you're a hiker, a runner, a climber, a cyclist, a kayaker, a botanist, a geologist, a photographer... on your own, with your family or in a group... there's plenty to discover and enjoy!
