(7,8 km) Cross over a stream. Turn left first and then immediately right. Walk up the slope, there is farmland on your right. At the crossroads, turn left along a narrow path (“Zone prévention eau potable”). At the bottom, take a wide track to the right (“Zone prévention eau potable”). Continue straight (going up) and ignore the 2 tracks on the left. Just before the tarmac, take the path to the left that runs along a house fence and carry on straight. At the T-junction, turn left onto a gravel path between the houses for a few metres. You then leave the gravel path to go straight down a path between garden fences. When you get to the road, go up to the right. At a bend, just before no. 45, turn left (“Sentier touristique”). Follow it straight between the fences.

On leaving the field, go back up the path to the left (a hairpin). Follow the symbol yellow. At the fork, turn right, then right again at the T-junction to rejoin the path that runs along the railway line.
Turn left and follow the railway line. Follow the track that goes down under the railway line. Keep to the right and continue along, following the symbol yellow. Cross the railway line at the level crossing and carry on straight. Just before a private property, turn left along a small wooded path.
Cross the “Saint-Jean stream” and carry on walking. At the T-junction, turn left and go under the railway line. Ignore the track that goes up on the right and stay on the main track, always keeping to the right. Go up the slope. At the place called “L’Étoile”, cross and rejoin the paved road (Rue de l’Abbaye).
