Circuit-Découverte Langrune

12th and 13th century church, its construction shows different architectural influences ranging from Romanesque to the height of Gothic architecture. It houses the relics of the Roman martyr Saint Helidor as well as a reproduction of the Florentine painter Giovanni Antonio Sogliani’s painting The Madonna and Child with Saint John the Baptist. 19th century molten metal replica of a famous statue by Germain Pilon. The original work is kept at the Louvre Museum in Paris and is carved out marble: it was commissioned by Catherine de Medici in 1561 to receive the heart of her late husband, King Henry II.
