Don't be fooled by the low profile of this Col de Plan Bois. Less demanding than the ascent via the dreaded La Frasse slope, the climb via Manigod is a guarantee of tranquillity and sumptuous scenery on the slopes of Montagne de Sulens.
The village of Manigod has retained all its typical Haut-Savoyard charm, and the Plan Bois pass with its inn invites you to take a contemplative break.
Cycling tip:
Take into account the exposure of the climb to Manigod, which gets the sun quite early in the morning.
To eat at Col de Plan Bois :
At the Auberge de Plan Bois, at the foot of the Sulens, try the local specialty: potato fritters.
