Pedestrian route to the northern area of Villar d'Arène
Description
A groomed and signposted pedestrian itinerary in the heart of the Villar d'Arène Nordic ski area. This free trail is for pedestrians only.
An ideal itinerary for a short walk of around 8km (return). Starting from Villar d'Arène, you'll pass through the Arsine area and end up at the Fond de la Gravière.
The start is in the village of Villar d'Arène: take the road towards Col du Lautaret, past the hotel/restaurant "Le Faranchin", then take the first right. Turn left to bypass the "Le Vannoir" bar. Go straight on, past the small bend on the right, downhill and the start will be on your left.

The route is usually sunny between 10.30 a.m. and 1 p.m. After the reservoir, if you look up and keep your eyes peeled, it's sometimes possible to spot chamois.
