Pont Vieux et son moulin

Edifice emblématique de la ville, sa première mention remonte au XII ème siècle. Il permettait le franchissement du Tarn encourageant alors l'essor du commerce. Le pont était également un point de péage entre le Languedoc au Sud et le massif central au Nord de Millau. Abîmé et détruit à de nombreuses reprises à cause des crues, il ne nous reste aujourd'hui que deux arches sur les 17 originelles.

A greenway along the banks of the Tarn in Millau takes you to the foot of the Larzac, where a superb climb begins, leading up to the ridges of the plateau. Along the way, two natural sites catch the eye: the Creissels waterfalls, which you’ll find in the village, and the Boundoulaou cirque. Passing under the viaduct designed by architect Norman Foster is the highlight of the walk!
