Detailed stages
1 - Departure from the Artigue car park.
2 - Put on your skins behind the top of the Fil Neige, then head off in the direction of the red "d'Artigue" piste.
3 - Head up the red "d'Artigue" piste, keeping to the left and following the purple ski touring signs.
4 - Set foot on the "Gimbres" plateau and join the "Promenade" trail at the large snow barrier.
5 - Walk up the right-bank "Promenade" path as far as the "Boutève" pond.
6 - Turn left to join the forest and the off-piste route that leads to the pass at 1772 m, signposted and waymarked.
7 - Follow the snow barrier until you reach the "Tuc Pan" chairlift, then continue along the ridge for 200m to reach the summit of Tuc de l'Étang at 1816m.
8 - Descent via the blue "Boutève" piste.
