
Enjoy this short, pleasant walk and discover the river Daronne valley with its meanders, gorges and nature trails.If you wish you can extend the ramble by going as far as the footbridge in Saint Sorny and back.
1 - Col de la Combe de Beaune - 350 m Follow Saint Sorny 1.6 km Deyras 5.1 km Go along the small road for 100m then turn left downhill onto a wide track. All the way down you have a beautiful view to the right overlooking the river Daronne Valley. 2 - Chemin de Chatelet - 280 m Follow Colombier le Vieux 4.3 km The return journey takes you back on a lovely path through the forest with chestnut, Sylvester pine and oak trees. Occasionally an opening gives way to a view over the Daronne Gorges just below. Continue uphill until you reach the place called La Grange then carry on along the wide track. 3 - La Grange - 440 m Follow Saint Barthélémy le Plain 6.4 km Follow the small lane to the left taking you back to the starting point.
Col de la Combe de Beaune
Follow the D234 from Saint Félicien as far as Colombier le Vieux. From the main central street towards Tournon turn left at the restaurant heading for La Freydière -Palisse. Go past the lane going down to the Daronne and straight on on the route de Clauzel. At the stone cross continue along the main road to the left then carry on ahead for 3km until you reach the car park and the rambling trail signpost situated at the road junction.
