REMEM'BERNIERES

Discover the history of the Allied landings at Bernières-sur-Mer on two signposted and geolocated trails, with the help of the Remem'Bernières web application.

A dozen period photos on outdoor supports mark out the geolocated tour: "They landed".

A signposting system around the town allows you to follow the soldiers' route through Bernières step by step. The photos are accompanied by a QR code, which you can scan with your smartphone or tablet to access the digital content: archive images, historical anecdotes, testimonies from civilians, etc.

Tour no. 1 "They landed": this tour retraces the history of the landings at Bernières-sur-mer through the remains of this period and the historic buildings destroyed by the Germans at 15 points of interest.
