PL 18 - LA TRAVERSÉE DU LARBOUST DEPUIS LES AGUDES

Cross-country – Altitude: max 1,600 m / min 623 m.
An accessible and enjoyable route in the heart of the Larboust Valley, linking its traditional villages via beautiful trails and fun descents.
With its forests, panoramic views and heritage sites, it’s the ideal outing for combining sport and exploration.

Starting from Les Agudes, you head down the Chemin des Coustasses to the Gouaux de Larboust cemetery. You then continue towards Oô along an old footpath that has been re-routed for mountain biking.
Take a moment to relax by the river in Oô before tackling the first climb towards Labach de Cazeaux. A short detour via the barns will give you a glimpse of the Pyrenean heritage, before you set off on a magnificent descent through the woods towards Cazeaux-de-Larboust.
You’ll pass through Castillon-de-Larboust and Saint-Aventin, then tackle the Benqué climb up to Cazarilh-Laspènes, before a beautiful, technical final descent towards Luchon.
