The Voie verte de la Vallée de la Baïse (Baïse Valley Greenway) crosses 6 communes in the Albret region over 27 km (Feugarolles, Vianne, Lavardac, Nérac, Le Fréchou and Moncrabeau). Rich in heritage and discovery, the river invites you to discover remarkable sites such as the Moulin des Tours de Barbaste, the town of Nérac (the royal city of Henri IV) and the village of Moncrabeau, capital of the liars.
Stop off at the Lavardac bicycle rest area to admire the sculpture in tribute to Lucien Péraire, a pioneer of cycle tourism in the early 20th century, and the first man to travel from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean by bicycle in the 1920s.
In the future, the greenway will be connected to the Canal de Garonne greenway (Canal des deux mers à vélo).
