Location complements
In Pionsat (63330) On the D227 after the supermarket, turn right towards La Crouzille, then after 1.5 km turn right into the village of Montroy - Start and parking at the cross under the lime tree at the entrance to the village.
Reception complements
For your own safety, always take a bottle of water, a hat, warm clothing and footwear suitable for walking.
Depending on the weather conditions, some routes are not recommended in bad weather (fog) or are not practicable, or even forbidden, during the winter season.
Some sites are fragile, so stay on the marked paths. Avoid picking wild flowers and disturbing wildlife. Pick up your rubbish.
Guidebook with maps/step-by-step
From the cross under the lime tree at the entrance to Montroy, go up the path opposite. At the crossroads, turn left. At the intersection, turn right until you reach a fork.
1 – Go down the path on the right until you reach a road. Cross it and continue straight ahead. Cross the hamlet of ‘Chez Barret’ and continue on the road until you reach the first wide path on the left.
2 – Follow it straight ahead until you reach a road. Take it to the right and immediately turn left onto a wide path. At point 1, continue straight ahead on the main path. Ignore the side paths and return to the starting point.
