Petit Saint Bernard pass

Border between the Haute Tarentaise and the Aosta Valley, this tray (2 188m) has seen many travelers since ancient times. The Romans aménagèrent a channel to the Middle Ages and Ht St Bernard built a hospice that welcomed 15,000 passengers in 1923.
Today The cervix is the starting point for many hikes and offers among others a view of the Italian side of Mont Blanc.
It is part of the Espace San Bernardo ski area uniting the resorts of La Rosiere - Seez (F) and La Thuile (I).
The hospice has become a tourist information point and a gite.
