Roiffieux forest

The forest covers an area of over 200 hectares. It is subject to forestry regulations and is managed by the National Forestry Office (ONF). There are signposted footpaths, picnic areas with tables and benches, and a drinking water point.
The communal forest is used by a wide range of people.
The part closest to the village has been developed for leisure activities: signposted trails, picnic areas, a bandstand, mountain bike trails, a fitness trail, etc.

It is used in particular by schoolchildren for orienteering and by archers for outdoor archery courses. A rest area with tables, benches and a drinking water tap is ideal for picnics and relaxation.

To discover other leisure activities in the village, a pump track (for scooters, skateboards, mountain bikes and rollerblades) has been set up on Route de la Garde. A multi-purpose sports ground and fitness equipment are located on Allée du Pré Cussinel. For younger children, the Jardin des Trappes (Chemin des Trappes) is situated near the local schools and features a children’s playground.
