Fontaine Lake

The Fontaine lake is located in the commune of Vacheresse at an altitude of 1330 m. Its surface area is one hectare. You can walk around the lake, an easy walk will take you to the chalets of Bise. There are many fishermen.
Easy access by car from Vacheresse, along the road leading to the chalets de Bise. Like all high-altitude lakes, swimming is not recommended for health reasons and to preserve the fragile aquatic environment.
