At Sallanches Tourism, we are moving toward a gentler, more respectful form of tourism, where every action aims to preserve our territory and enhance the experience for all. A caring approach: all our projects are designed with attention to people, the environment, and local well-being. Less paper, more meaning: our materials are largely digital, printed only on demand, and complemented by sustainable tools with QR codes, providing up-to-date information via our interactive map. Accessible soft mobility for everyone: Montenbus: on-demand transport available year-round within the local community (montenbus.fr). Montenvélo: electric bikes for self-service, allowing effortless and carbon-free exploration of the Mont-Blanc region (montenvelo.fr). Free Euro 6 summer shuttle: simple and clean travel around Sallanches. Everyday eco-citizen actions: selective sorting, adjustable lighting, mindful consumption… these habits are rooted in our daily routine to reduce our impact. Every gesture counts toward responsible tourism that preserves and showcases our exceptional natural heritage. Accessibility and inclusion: even without the official Tourism & Handicap label (Atout France), we implement concrete measures to welcome visitors with reduced mobility or specific needs. Our tourist office is wheelchair accessible with assistance: Dedicated parking space right in front, with lowered sidewalk and step for easy access to the entrance hall. Doorbell at the entrance to signal your arrival, and we will open the heavy swinging door. Reception counter adapted and at the right height for wheelchair users. Outdoor touchscreen kiosk, accessible from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., to consult the city’s tourist offer independently. We also highlight our committed partners, such as Loisirs Assis Évasion, a specialist in adapted sports, making leisure activities accessible to all, and the association Aller plus haut, which supports and protects people with disabilities by distributing our monthly activity programs to local stakeholders. These initiatives are an integral part of our commitment to sustainable and inclusive tourism.
